Gentry Allen
a passionate collector
who began acquiring Rolling Stones memorabilia at the age of 14. His first introduction to the
band came through the album Voodoo Lounge, and from that moment he was captivated by
their music, history, and cultural impact.
In addition to his work as a collector, Gentry Allen has built a successful career as a
healthcare entrepreneur and is a graduate of Harvard University. Born in Nashville,
Tennessee, he has deep family roots in The Shoals and considers the area an honorary
hometown.
The collection is housed within a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Gentry Allen Foundation for Art and Music.
The foundation’s mission is to preserve important cultural
artifacts, educate the public about the history of music, and create opportunities forindividuals—especially those who may not otherwise have access—to engage with and
experience the arts.
